I love Sleater-Kinney and this is one of my favourite songs! Wish the video was longer, I'd love to see Corin and Carrie explain how to play the guitar parts and what effects they used. That whole album is full of fantastic guitar playing! And Carrie referencing Selda was super random but I can hear it; definitely has an "Ince Ince" vibe.
I don't recall ever seeing a photo of either Corin or Carrie playing a Fender. Carrie has played a Tele-style guitar in recent years but it's not a Fender.

You'd think a guitar channel might ask them about tuning. I've heard they tune their guitars to C# standard for at least some of their songs but I'd like to know more about that.

Favorite band since I’ve start playing guitar when I was a kiddo. It was great to have those cool women in music/figures in music growing up. Kept me going.

Lovin the story and excitement from such fun players with intriguing music that inspires me as a guitarist with intriguing performances for their song.
My pops was in his late 80s/ early 90s when my brother introduced my dad to Sleater-Kinney because they played on Letterman (2015 appearance).
My dad loved to tap his foot as he moved into his 90s and dementia started to take hold, but my brother would brag that my dad liked these two.
Cool beans.
