My wife dosn't surf she goe's to the beach a lot and watches surfers and that's about it. I myself have surfed over 46 years hard core and I'm a bit of a local legend. I've gained my respect. But the other evening I was watching this vid on my TV with the wife after a few hit of some good pakalolo and she said something that was rather profound, at least it seemed that way at the time. She said "I don't think tow in surfing is very fair" and I said "what do you mean?" "Well they don't have to paddle. They don't paddle into the wave, they don't paddle back out and if the wipe out they get rescued. It's not really complete surfing." "Wow!" I said to her "You see it! You know! Then we watched a video of huge Puerto Escondido every man scratching not a tow in site. Real surfing!!!
